Sara Bader is an experienced QI strategist and coach with a passion for helping organizations make health care more equitable and safe by understanding not only the why, but also the how. She began her career as an urban planner working in local government in the UK before transitioning to health care and finding her niche in quality improvement. Sara has since worked on quality initiatives for state hospital associations and a health system, coaching organizations to plan, assess, implement, and evaluate interventions to promote safe and reliable care. Sara has a Master’s degree in Civic Design from the University of Liverpool, a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt from Dartmouth College, and is a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality and Patient Safety. She lives in San Diego with her husband, young daughter, and golden retriever, Rusty.
